Crain's Detroit Business - Call for nominations

Crain's convened our second-ever Health Care Leadership Summit on October 15, 2009, just two days after the U.S. Senate Finance Committee approved the “Baucus bill” for health care reform. We expected 400 to attend, but 550 people came — showing the intense interest our readers have for this topic.

We engaged people in small-group discussions as well as a high-profile, moderated, on-stage roundtable to figure out what specific ways Southeast Michigan could improve health care and the delivery of that care while reducing costs. Here are stories, videos, and some of the PowerPoint presentations that our panelists used that day.
