The latest attempt to change the state's auto no-fault system has moved from the House Insurance Committee to the House floor, where all signs point to that being its final movement in the legislative process. Gov. Rick Snyder's plan, contained in HB 4612, includes the elimination of the unlimited lifetime medical benefit for those suffering from catastrophic injuries and instead puts in its place a $1 million cap.
